Meet the Billie Jacket — a fresh take on our signature kantha layers.
Made from repurposed Galicha kantha quilts, this style features a more structured, cardigan-like silhouette with an open front—no buttons, no pockets, just easy layering with strong character.
Galicha kantha originates from Bengal and is known for its dense, geometric stitching and thick, carpet-like construction. Traditionally used as floor coverings or heavy quilts, Galicha kanthas are made by layering old saris and stitching them together with intricate patterns—transforming worn textiles into something both beautiful and durable.
Each Billie Jacket is handmade in Jaipur, India, using one-of-a-kind quilts—so no two are ever the same. The fit is relaxed and gender-inclusive, making it an effortless piece for anyone to throw on and go.
It’s bold, textural, and full of history—a wearable layer that adds something special to any outfit.
